Stress is not only something we feel emotionally. It often shows up physically, and many people do not realise how much tension they are holding until it is eased.
Common Physical Signs
Tight shoulders, a stiff neck, a clenched jaw, shallow breathing, and a general sense of being braced are all common. The body responds to ongoing pressure by holding muscles tense, often without us noticing.
How Treatment Helps
Soft tissue massage encourages the muscles to release and the nervous system to settle. Many clients describe feeling lighter and calmer afterwards, as well as physically looser. Alongside treatment, regular movement and good rest support the body in managing stress.
